SANTA FE DREAMERS PROJECT

Santa Fe Dreamers Project provides free legal services to immigrants to promote economic empowerment, community development, family unity, and liberation from detention. Our work is centered around the belief that supporting immigrants makes our whole community stronger. We are committed to representing every qualified immigrant who walks through our doors, to using service strategies that expand vulnerable peoples’ access to legal counsel, and helping to elevate the voices and narratives of immigrants in our community to support positive reform.

ABQ MUTUAL AID FUND

ABQ Mutual Aid is a coalition of local organizations and individuals working to protect our at-risk community members during the COVID-19 emergency in New Mexico. 

SUNRISE MOVEMENT

Sunrise is a movement to stop climate change and create millions of good jobs in the process.

We're building an army of young people to make climate change an urgent priority across America, end the corrupting influence of fossil fuel executives on our politics, and elect leaders who stand up for the health and wellbeing of all people.

We are ordinary young people who are scared about what the climate crisis means for the people and places we love. We are gathering in classrooms, living rooms, and worship halls across the country. Everyone has a role to play. Public opinion is already with us - if we unite by the millions we can turn this into political power and reclaim our democracy.

We are not looking to the right or left. We look forward. Together, we will change this country and this world, sure as the sun rises each morning.

NATIVE AMERICAN RELIEF FUND

This fund provides emergency grants to tribal communities and organizations to bring food, water, and other emergency supplies to some of the hardest-hit families and communities impacted by COVID-19 across the Navajo, Apache, and Pueblos of New Mexico and beyond.

The New Mexico Foundation, in collaboration with the Santa Fe Community Foundation, Thornburg Foundation, Navajo-Hopi Families COVID-19 Relief Fund, have launched The Native American Relief Fund to help get resources to the communities most in need.

This fund will help our Pueblo and Tribal communities respond to the incredible challenges posed by responding to COVID-19, including helping to get critical supplies of food, water, and other supplies to families. The New Mexico Foundation is proud to host this fund and work with our Tribal, state, and philanthropic partners to help ensure we can get critical resources to communities and support their long-term recovery and resilience.

The Southern Poverty Law Center is dedicated to fighting hate and bigotry and to seeking justice for the most vulnerable members of our society. Using litigation, education, and other forms of advocacy, the SPLC works toward the day when the ideals of equal justice and equal opportunity will be a reality.
